Shoot me, don't harass me : Jagan

January 24, 2012
Guntur

Kadapa MP and YSR Congress Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is on an odarpu yatra in Guntur district, heavily criticized the ruling Congress and principal opposition Telugu Desam Parties for their tactics to make sure that there is no place for any other party in the State. He said that the Congress party is turing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into "Congress Bureau of Investigation". Instead of fabricating cases against him and his family, Jagan said that they can finish him off by shooting him to death in one go.

Jagan conducted the 56th day of his odarpu yatra in Ambapuram village of Gurajala mandal in Guntur. He was received well by farmers and YSR Congress Party supporters who followed him through out the yatra in Takkellapadu, Kesanupally and Dachepally. Addressing a public meeting at Gurajala at the end of the day, Jagan questioned how Chandrababu Naidu, who began his career with a two acre farm, can now hold thousands of acres of land as well as a firm like Heritage. He alleged that the former Chief Minister has looted the State during his nine-year rule.

While charging the Congress party for creating hurdles to his odarpu yatra as well as hatching a conspiracy with the Telugu Desam Party, Jagan said that despite any hurdles, he is conducting his odarpu yatra as he has given his word to his father at his grave in Idupulapaya.
